LYFT
Everyone knows Lyft, but with the launch of their B2B brand Lyft Business, the car service needed to get the word out. Working closely with a team of salespeople, producers, art directors, DPs, and editors, I wrote a script that put the story of their new platform in human terms. This video is just one of a suite of content we created for Lyft - I also animated a series of video FAQs to help users navigate the latest features and functionalities.
THE LOCAL WAY
For years, I collaborated with RPP Productions for their online travel series, editing over a dozen episodes exploring Dublin, New York, and Los Angeles, not to mention creating all the brand assets and animated elements. The guide to drinking and dining in Downtown LA is a particular favorite.
INTEGRATE
This video for Integrate is a great example of "text-to-video," a product I developed at BrightTALK. Clients give us an existing asset like a whitepaper, e-book, research study, or blog post, and we turn it into a dynamic animated video. Since I handle everything from scripting to storyboarding, animating to casting the voiceover talent, all the client has to do is give a thumbs' up or down along the way. After seeing how easy it was to make the first video, the client quickly bought nine more in the next quarter.
OPTOVUE
Vision Source Exchange is one of the biggest ophthalmology events of the year, and Optovue wanted to ensure their live presentation made a splash. I put together three pitch proposals for them complete with story outlines and style frames. They ultimately went with Optometry Trek, a Star Trek spoof that utilized a green screen studio, 6 actors, 8 crew members, an animator, two editors, and a metric ton of lens flares to raise the bar on Optovue’s content. After the event, their Director of Marketing told us “The Optometry Trek video and stage performance of our speakers was excellent, very entertaining and well received!…We think Optometry Trek is the best Vision Source video that Optovue has ever presented, and we achieved our goal of educating the audience and getting our messaging out.”
KENTIK
Network analytics isn’t the easiest topic to explain. My solution for Kentik? A fast-paced, plain-language explainer using stop motion. I worked closely with the client to write the perfect script and design the right look and feel in pre-production. It took a lot of (literal) hands to make the video come to life, but in the end, the client was thrilled to have a high-quality explainer the sales team could leverage to grow their business.
SCHRODERS
When Schroders wanted to educate their audiences on the basics of investing, they turned to BrightTALK for help. We created a series of clean, easy-to-understand videos around stocks, bonds, and alternatives. I did all the storyboarding, animating, and even provided a placeholder voiceover for first drafts - they liked my voice so much, it stayed in the final version! Today, the Investor IQ Series has expanded into a 60+ video series, with customized versions for 13 different languages and international markets.
